The story
Tame Impala is effectively Kevin Parker alone: he writes, plays, records and mixes the albums in Perth, then assembles a band to perform them. Currents in 2015 moved the project from guitar psychedelia to synth-driven pop and made him a sought-after collaborator for Rihanna, Travis Scott and Lady Gaga. Deadbeat followed in 2025.
