The story
Molly Tuttle was the first woman named Guitar Player of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association, in 2017, and won it again the following year. She flatpicks, crosspicks and clawhammers a guitar — a technique borrowed from banjo — and has taken two Grammys with her band Golden Highway. She has spoken openly about living with alopecia since childhood.
