The Beach Boys are an American rock band formed in Hawthorne, California, in 1961. They pioneered the California Sound and introduced the world to "surf music." Under Brian Wilson's visionary production, they created landmark albums including "Pet Sounds" (1966). Their hits include "Surfin' U.S.A.," "California Girls," "Good Vibrations," "God Only Knows," and "Kokomo."
