Bass
A genuine studio workhorse
Fender American Professional II Jazz Bass
Recorded three EPs with this bass and it has been the one constant across every session engineer's preferences. The V-Mod II pickups give you that classic Jazz bass growl on the bridge pickup, and the improved neck taper makes fast lines actually comfortable instead of just possible. Only complaint is the price crept up significantly from the previous generation.
Pros
Studio-standard tone, comfortable neck taper, punchy for R&B lines.
Cons
Pricier than the outgoing American Professional model.
