Kamaka Ukulele

Kamaka Ukulele is one of the oldest and most revered instrument makers in Hawaii, founded in Honolulu in 1916 by Sam Koki'a Kamaka Sr. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, Kamaka builds every ukulele by hand using Hawaiian koa wood — the traditional material that gives the ukulele its distinctive warm, resonant tone. A living piece of Hawaiian cultural heritage.
