Mike Rutherford

Mike Rutherford is the bassist and co-guitarist of Genesis, a founding member who co-wrote many of the band's most celebrated songs including "The Carpet Crawlers" and "Follow You Follow Me." Outside Genesis, he founded Mike and the Mechanics, achieving a massive hit with "The Living Years" (1988). He remains one of the three-piece core of the classic Genesis lineup.
