Barry Goudreau was the lead guitarist of Boston on their first two classic albums, "Boston" (1976) and "Don't Look Back" (1978). His twin-guitar interplay with Tom Scholz contributed to the band's distinctive soaring rock sound. He departed Boston in 1981 and later formed the band Orion the Hunter.
