Terry Kath

Terry Kath was the original lead guitarist and co-vocalist of Chicago, widely regarded as one of the most gifted guitarists of his generation — Jimi Hendrix himself reportedly told Kath, "You're better than me." Kath's soulful vocals and technically brilliant guitar work were central to Chicago's early sound. He died accidentally from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 1978.
